A shaman can provide individual healing and techniques for living in harmony with the world. A shaman is guided by energy to remove heavy loads a person carries. The shaman does this with power and force but everything with respect.




This blog is for those who have been seeking and have found their way around shamanism a bit and come to the conclusion that there are alot of hustlers in the spiritual scene. These are seekers who have come to a stage of naive messianic desire to help, who have developed their own crusade into marketable stuff which they then sell at shamefully high prices. Enlightenment cannot be given, it is an ongoing now experience, and basking in the higher emotional emanations of a cult guru are not it either. One must do it for themselves. There are teachers who can point and help you simplify your life so the awakening process happens. There is a living tribe of spiritual souls to turn to. There is a teaching for those who have forgotten it. And there is work for those who are ready to serve.



This blog is for those who are through with the spiritual hustlers and are now ready to work and who therefore wish to chart their own path. May this blog serve as a living evolute nexi (whatever that means), and as a source of useful information for contemporary shamans and shamankas.






hYpGnosis and Techno-Shazam-manism



Altered states of consciousness are one key to magick and shamanism. We will speak on other keys at a later blog.



magick = willed change.



shamanism= the craft of being a multi dimensional entity.



There are many ways to experience an altered state of consciousness, some extreme, some safer.



One safer method is self hypnosis.



One will be developing a reciprocal relation with unknown facets of self while in a self induced trance, which only you control.



One develops the skills in a gradual systematic way. A way that builds upon itself and becomes richer and more powerful the more one does it.



Here is one personalities way of developing self hypnosis ability.






Remember others have gone into the unknown before and left good maps. Also remember stress is the #1 cause of disease and that this type of relaxation technique is therefore good for whatever ails you and practised daily will increase your health and enjoyment of life.



Find the passageways to altered states, may this serve to point the way.




A quick method of obtaining predominantly Alpha rythms in the brain(light trance)



1 look up , keeping eyes open until they tire, then say " eyelids heavy" and close them while imagining a wave of relaxation descend from your head down, and keep imagining another wave of warmth and profound relaxation with each exhalation.



2 say to yourself "eyelids heavy, relax completely" while sensing and relaxing all the small muscles around the eyes and still imagining a wave of warm relaxing energy descend through your body with each exhalation.



3 say to yourself " eyes sealed and, completely relaxed now" while imagining and sensing yourself to be so deeply relaxed that your eyelids feel sealed shut and too heavy to open.



4 enjoy your relaxed expanded state and return to ordinary consciousness at will. etc.






ok, lets try another longer induction method, this is one of the first i came across(from a theosophical tradition).



Read this into a sound recorder and play it back to yourself while sitting in a straight backed chair with both feet flat on ground and hands in lap. If you have the neuro programmer software you can save it as a suggestion and play it back with an alpha entrainment protocol.



Plan to do this and other meditational activities around the same time each day if possible, but doing these activities every day is necessary for development.



ok, so, sitting as instructed with hands face up on lap and before listening to the following script prepare in this way:



  1. Perform the above rapid entrancing method. Keep eyes closed.

  2. Tense and observe than relax and observe each body part in turn one at a time starting with the feet and moving up to the head . Take a few minutes to complete this and relax completely. if any part becomes tense tell it to relax, e.g. "Relax neck".

  3. Press play on your recorder(adjust volume in advance!).

  1. Step onto your own private elevator, turn to face the doors, and watch them shut. Inhale, Exhale and drift down to 5,5,5.(Visualise and repeat the numbers) Inhale exhale and descend gently to 4,4,4. Inhale Exhale and drift down to 3,3,3. Inhale Exhale and float slowly down down down to 2,2,2. Inhale exhale and descend down deeper to 1,1,1. Inhale Exhale, and go down down down deeper deeper deeper to B,B,B.
  2. Your elevator doors open now and you step out into a shaft of light that shines down on you from above.
  3. You are now in the healthiest possible state of being.
  4. In this relaxed expanded trance state You and you alone will control your mind. only positive suggestions and influences in perfect ecology with the whole of your being and directed by you can affect you now in this trance state.
  5. With your eyes still closed, imagine before you a mental film screen. The surface of the film screen may be light or dark, but picture it in your minds eye. Then allow whatever images that come to flash across the screen.
  6. After a few minutes, erase your screen and focus on blankness. If some thought stuff attempts to cross your screen, lower any resistance and allow it to pass. Firmly but gently bring the screen back to blankness.
  7. After keeping your screen blank for as long as possible, say : "You are now in the healthiest possible state of being" (pause) "In this state you are completely relaxed deeply now."(pause) "If you wish too make any adjustments to be more comfortable and relaxed do it now, so that you are even more deeply, comfortably relaxed.(long pause)
  8. "In this healthiest possible state of being, you are absorbing good energy from the atmosphere"(long pause) "When you bring yourself out of this state you will be completely refreshed as if after a really good nights restful sleep after a month on vacation"(long pause)"Your body will feel as if newly made, with every part in fabulous perfect working order"(long pause)" Your mind will be flexible, innovative and open to learning and whatever you see, whatever you hear whatever your read will be understood and utilized harmoniously." (pause) "You will be bursting with youthful energy"(pause) " You will be filled with joy- a joy that will last for days." (long pause).
  9. Now step back into your private elevator to bring yourself back up to normal waking consciousness.
  10. Your elevator door closes and you inhale and come up, up, up to 1,1,1. Exhale and inhale and float all the way up to 2,2,2. Exhale and inhale and ascend up up up to 3,3,3. Exhale, and inhale and come all the way up now to 4,4,4.
  11. Your lift doors open and you open your eyes wide awake feeling great.

These are good starting points. Perform these techniques a few times over the next few days. Consider doing this or a similar relaxation trance technique for at least 30 days as it takes around 30-40 days practise to really get the hang of it.

This hyp-gnosis blog will be underconstruction for some time and will contain a slew of techniques that develop from the above techniques. Rather than start a different blog for each new entry i will expand this here bloggy. We will first learn some other induction methods and deepening techniques. then we will learn to set up ideo-motor questioning techniques to put questions to various parts of our sub-conscious and super-conscious(the underworld and sky world of shamanic cosmologies?), we will discuss, and provide samples of, all manner of hypnotic suggestions and guided journeys and other visualisations. in a past blog (feb 10 2008) we introduced a techno shamanic online trance questing technique and asked you to quest for any materials related to this blogs tecnoshamanic instructional theme. We said we wanted you to quest blind to see if you could somehow find the right resources by following your gnows sis. Well one of the softwares you may have found is called virtual hypnotist. If you havent already get it now and have fun with it for a few days. Use the eight winner scripts as a suggestion or subliminal script or use one from here or quest for it or rite your own

So, hopefully by now, you have researched all kinds of trance inductions and deepening techniques. Next we will try something a little different, an exercise to develop the minds eye(visualisation).
Choose a time when you will be undisturbed.
Sit or lay comfortably.
Breathe, let go and relax.
Close your eyes and imagine you are in a dark room, in front of a large white screen. For a few moments allow nothing to intrude on the empty white expanse, totally blank.
(This monotonous activity will induce a light trance)
Now, in your minds eye create a picture of a clear empty glass and project it onto the screen.
When the glass is as clear and 3 dimensional as you can get it, visualise it filled with orange juice.
Now add some ice cubes.
Now add a straw.
now project a caption underneath the glass, "Juice".
Change the font and colour of the text a few times.
Change to different liquids and recaption it again, etc.

do this for ten to 20 minutes a day for 5 days then add this,

Now visualise your kitchen or bathroom.
Gradually build up a strong 3 dimensional detailed representation.
Move into your picture and interact with things as you would in daily life for about twenty minutes.

Do the above kitchen step for 14 days for a half hour a day before proceeding to da next step.

Visualise your own sacred nature temple.
Make it richly detailed and real with the power of your mind.
Come back to it again and again whenever the opportunity arises until it takes on a reality of its own.
Now visualise your own highest and truest enlightened guide appearing in the temple in whatever form occurs to you. Interact with the guide in a way that seems appropriate.

finish by intending to return and then remember the conditions in the space your physical form is in and open your eyes saying" wide awake wide awake feeling bathed in love, enlightened, divinely realised and, refreshed and relaxed".
