self honesty

Can this one really discern between the sleeping state and awakening(in the work sense)? am we doing imaginary work? how does one discern?

THE CLEAR LIGHT PRAYERNow I am experiencing the Clear Light of objectivereality. Nothing is happening, nothing ever hashappened or ever will happen. My present senseof self, the voyager, is in reality the void itself,having no qualities or characteristics. I remembermyself as the voyager, whose deepest nature is theClear Light itself; I am one; there is no other. Iam the voidness of the void, the eternal unborn,the uncreated, neither real nor unreal. All thatI have been conscious of is my own play ofpatterns of light in infinite extension, endlessendlessness, the Absolute beyond change, existence,reality.
